I was listening to this group called The Band Perry. They have this song called “Better Dig Two”. Talking about if her partner dies before her the grave digger better dig two. Then I saw these pieces all hit the market I had to bring them together to make this post.
As she dresses in her DWD – Cassie Gown in Midnight, the tears started to cloud her eyes causing her mascara to smear around her eyes. Crawling behind the wheel of her Consignment Wax on/Wax off Convertible Ratrod, she heads for the cemetery where their plots were purchased. Her beloved, lost to the sea. Her thoughts drift to an image of his boat upon the ocean floor.
Standing before her car she looks out at the town she is leaving behind. Headed to join her beloved in the ever after. The souls whispering through the trees, as the fog rolls across the hallowed grounds of BtD’s Sanctuary of Lost Souls Cemetery. With carefully placed foot steps, she makes her way across the grounds headed for the open plot that will be her resting place.
Upon reaching the open plot she sees her head stone already in place. Their names written across the stone with only the words “Til Death do We Part”. A deep sigh comes from her mouth as the tears start to fall from her eyes. Not in sorrow but in the trust that she knows she will soon see her beloved once again. She drops the bouquet and tucks her hair behind her ears. Adjusting the last present he had brought her a beautiful matching Beaded Golden Skies jewelry set from Glint.
Adjusting her veil she closes her eyes and steps forward into her open grave, the sound of ghosts following her to her death bed gives her comfort as the last of the poison takes her breath from her body.
