It’s the weekend, and what better way to spend it then hitting the Garage Sales and getting those great deals. Fi’s Creations has this cute little garage where several of the local SL stores is participating in a monthly Garage Sale. It runs from the 1st to the 15th. I sneaked in early, cause Fi forgets to lock me out. LOL

My first stop was this at this neat little booth from LX Essentials. Lex has brought you a NEW skirt in many colors. It’s a mesh design compatible with Belleza, Isis, and Freya bodies. It works with Slink and Maitreya too. (Just a little toning of your body to fit it. But she includes a NC with info of what fits best.)

Now I am not a skirt girl, but I couldn’t pass up on the 50% off item. These mesh jeans fit my slink physique with no shape altering just alpha-ing like you would a standard avi. And the free gift pairs up with both items gorgeously. Since I was alone at the Garage I had to slip into the outfit to check it out. Take a look vvvvvvvv

Heading further into the Garage in search of more deals I can snag before the rest of the birds swoop in. I found an adorable vanity table set from Gachapon. Offering it in a ton of different wood finishes. Her 50 % off is a Crystal Dango jewelry set and the free gift is an animated hair brush to sing along too.

Glad no one can hear how far off key I was too the song. lol  Ohh and you see my cute gamer chick gear. This is available by KK designs. KK offers 3 outfits. But I only snagged the one. There is also a cute skirt and top I left for the others.

I may not be the skirt type girlie, but when it comes to these bandanna style dresses, i’m all a sucker. This Hanky Dress is offered by Faerietale Designs. It’s mesh and has a color change hud with 8 different fabrics. She also is offering a pair of clog heels with the same fabric change hud. I think I am going to take these break glass if.. signs too. Can anyone grab the other end?

She also had the furniture for sale with it, a couch, rug, and picture frame. Her free gift was the cute Happiness sign out front and the 50% off item was a set of brightly colored beach chairs.

Now that I got all my treasures home I think I am going to relax here on the couch listening to some mellow music as I watch the sun fade through the afternoon.

Hey Folks sorry it has been so long in between posts this time. Real life got in the way. School finally started back up so I am able to ship off the kiddo during the day now. lol *Does the happy parent dance*

But now I need to catch up on these beautiful pieces that Fi has brought into the store. The first piece is the St. Tropez Swimsuit. Seeing how I couldn’t get out to the beach to test this swimsuit, I went down to the ground level of the sim I live on and checked out the landscape that was designed by Isabelli Anatine Hak.

Isa created a beautiful lagoon with waterfall set up for us to use. Which you will see glimpses of it in the pictures. I don’t want to show off to much, so no one’s privacy is exposed. But if you want someone to come in and terraform and decorate for you, this is the girlie to get!

Standing on the wooden stairs that leads up the cliff side, I snagged this image. I added a sarong to the suit for the walk down from the house. This suit is a 1 piece that is offered in 4 Different Hud driven color sets. The color set I am wearing is the Platin Vip colors which is offered on all the huds. Give you a glimpse of those color choices…

You can change the top, bottom, straps, and metal colors. The suit is mesh and fits beautifully with my Slink Physique body.

After walking through the area, I chose to jump in and cool off in the waterfall. It was to inviting to pass up!

Later that night, I got a chance to get dressed up for a night of “Dine and Wine” with a friend of mine. I chose the new Avenue pencil dress from Fi’s. It’s a beautiful mesh dress that comes in 5 different color hud sets. Each Hud has 5 dress colors and 5 belt colors. I again went with the deep red shade that is for the VIPS group.

Just adjusting my rings before I headed to dinner. It took me time to decide on this shade cause of all the colors that are available.. just look…

The fabric is beautifully done. So I took a close up by the table, giving you a chance to look at the detail of the top of the dress. And ignore my face paint, we were testing things for Halloween. It’s right around the corner. lol

August Gifts – part 3

So continuing on my series of “August Group Gifts”, I bring you two more stores. First store is Fi’s Creations, with a 2-piece group gift. And second is an eloquent gown from Purple Moon.

Today, I was headed to the gym for a boxing class. Grabbing the cute tank n skirt from Fi’s Creation made my outfit for the work out. Let’s grab a smoothie before class, and I will explain this cute lil outfit.

Fi’s Creations is offering 2 colors of this system layer tank top. And for the Platin members she added 2 color coordinated mesh skirts. The regular group is “FREE” to join, while the Platin group is 250L, In the Platin group you receive bigger gifts and usually have exclusive colors on each color change HUD in the mesh clothing sets.

To round out the outfit, I grabbed the feet wraps from fri.day at C88 and the gloves from Fire GOOD!!! off MP. These are cartoon action gloves, each punch or kick will emit one of six cartoon action particle effects.

After that work out and a shower time to dress up. The Hedy dress from Purple Moon was super elegant and perfect for tonight. The group gift is in Grey and full Mesh lay out for standard, Omega, and Slink Physique bodies.

Poulet from Purple Moon has been working hard to give us great detailed pieces and bring her lines into the Mesh trend taking over SL. The group costs 50L to join, and there is a new gift each month along with specials and sales all the time. She also has member only sim hunts through out the year, at different holidays.

As one of Fi’s Creations bloggers, I get to hear about the up coming events. And this one I have been itching to get a hold of for weeks. After a rough start the gates were opened, a few fumbled steps, we are off and running, and I do mean RUN folks.The lions escaped the Serengeti and are on the hunt. lol

These gorgeous lions are part of not 1, but 2 items to find along the hunt path. On the left is the Roaring Lion Tip Jar offered by Tipster’s and the one on the right, is the animated image from Sanna-Science and Art.  Both are flat images and when taken from the right angle the camera lies, cause those bad boys look real. RUN!!

Glad I wore the African Princess Sun out, the skirt offers plenty of room for me to run! The African Princess Sun outfit comes with mesh body fitted pieces too. And provided by Emerald Couture.

Here you can see the Giraffe watering Hole provided by LEP. And lucky for me, after I snagged my swim suit, they didn’t mind me hanging out to cool off in the water with them. The adorable swim suit is offered by our own Ms. Fiona at Fi’s Creations. You get this suit at the 1st stop.

I even found a gentle giant relaxing under the shade tree. The beautiful African Elephant is animated with an on/off touch feature. Ever hear the saying the “an elephant never forgets” ? It’s true an elephant will hold a grudge for years, and even a color that resembles something from the initial irritation can send it on a stampede,

Let’s hope this one stays calm. He/She is offered to us by Sweet Revolutions. This African Savanna grass I found on MP by SR, too. I enjoyed running through the grass in this outfit, I think I was hidden from the lions. A girl can dream right? This 2 piece ensemble is brought to us by Cheeky Parrot Boutique. Pairing the RedRose Jewelry – African bead Jewelry set with it, gave the outfit just the accessories it needed.

After all the running around and visiting with the animals, I think its time to get some dinner. The spread is amazing, aren’t you hungry? The Formal dining table was supplied and stocked by Nomiki’s Creations. She knew we were going to be starved after our 1st day on the Serengeti.

Animals, clothes, food, and decor fill your days while roaming the African Summer Hunt. I couldn’t even possibly fit all 49 stops into one little blog post. But I should be back soon with many more stores to show you. I want to show you a few last things that I collected from the stops along the way.

This beautifully designed shelf holds all my little knickknacks and even some of my reference books. The shelf is brought to us by a new designer in SL and to Fi’s Hunts. Please take a second to look at her store as you stop by to get your hunt prize. The African Shelf (knicknacks are included) is from XL-Creation.

The Picture frame hanging above the shelf, and the potted cactus, are 2 of the 3 pieces offered by Darkmatter. I included the clock below with the mural I found at the *Shabby* stop. The Mural comes with cute square poof style seats which I have stacked up somewhere around here. Oh and did you notice the carpets and the tent those I got when I stopped by EC Designs.

Okay, so my day has wore me out, but I can’t wait for tomorrow when I can run through my safari and spent time playing in the grass. The dry heat is an amazing change to the humidity I am use too. Time to sit back drink a cup of coffee and watch the sunset…  or at least wait for my date to get here so we can go dance at the local bar. Thanks to Mishmash Fushion, I have this gorgeous side cut out zebra printed dress. She gave me shoes, too! But I like the chains on this pair of heels, makes me feel like I’m taming the beast with in. I got them over at the Wicked store.

August Group Gifts – part 2

So, this time when I headed out into the stores looking for those hidden group gift treasures. I Found two new stores to add to my list of Fashion stores. This time I took along company, too.

My first stop was by a store called (BYRNE) Style. Now this was a store who commented on my first set of August’s gift, when it hit the Second Social page. So of course, I had to go check them out. Byrne (pronounced Burn) has been on market place for just under a year starting her clothes back in September of 2014. Her inworld store was born in December of that same year. Currently, their group is free to join. She also has a subscriber board that gets you a separate gift for free and doesn’t require a group space.

Byrne offers fashions for both females and males. In the pictures below, you will see both free gifts this month too.

The second store on the list tonight is called No Match. This store is one of the very few hair stores that provide group gifts. Currently there are several gifts out, and a few are unisex. There is a 50L joining fee, which is well worth it seeing how there was nearly 8 gifts out to snag. (Don’t wait around I am sure she won’t have them out long.) I wasn’t able to catch up with No Match to find out how long she’s been on the grid, but with a group of 1800+ members she has been around for a while.

No Match offers Male, female, and unisex hair in her store. I couldn’t find her on marketplace, so I am including her SLurl.

After some shopping me and Ras (my brother) went back to campsite by the lake and tried on our new gifts. Ras decided I needed to swimming and picked me up. DOn’t you hate when siblings are stronger than you???

Fighting was futile! lol

But as you can see we are both sporting new hair dos from No match. I am wearing the No Country and he is wearing the No Fun.. both are from the unisex gifts that were put out. Both come with color huds so you have a few shades to choose from.

The top I am wearing is from BYRNE and so are his shorts. The top is called Zuka Bandeau Top (Blue Ombre shown, Lilac Ombre included) and his shorts are called Zuka Men’s shorts (Black Denim shown, White Denim included).

I’m wearing the Slink Physique body which worked great with just using the built in alpha-ing features. Ras doesn’t wear any of the mesh parts.

Before he decided I need to go for a swim I was just chilling inside the wagon. In the close up you can see the detail of the Zuka top with the pearl flower add on. The No Country hair complements the out fit perfectly.

August Group Gifts

Who doesn’t love free gifts? Here are 2 of the free gifts I have collected so far this month.(August) I’m currently group members to Carrie’s Vip and 7 Deadly Sins.

Now 7 Deadly skins group join is only 50L right now.. but it won’t stay that way for long. And with the monthly gifts it is well worth getting in on the ground floor. (Rumor has it she is closing the gap to 30k members and when she does it will be 300L to join.)

Carrie’s Lingerie has 2 groups. One group gets you special MM boards and information on upcoming events and releases. It’s free last I checked. The second group is the Carrie’s Lingerie Vip group. This one carries a hefty 500L group join. BUUUUUTTTTTT….. the benefits out weigh the cost. You get free monthly gifts, special VIP only MM boards, VIP special Edition Releases, there is a Store discount on different items (always changing), and she has a whole Halloween and Xmas special exclusive set ups. (Not to mention she is in several grid hunts and generally offers holiday in store hunts around Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s day.)

With all that said and out there how about the new lingerie and Skin? lol

I’m not going to give you some run down of every item I am wearing or what is in the room. Cause my focus this time was on this gorgeous Skin from 7 Deadly Skins called August 2015 GIRLS (pictured in Marshmellow cleavage). There are 4 shades, Slink hands and feet appliers, and Tango appliers for all the shades. In this set of pictures I am also wearing the Slink physique mesh body so I had to get the Body applier which is available in store. (The body applier is 400L – But you buy the body appliers by the shade. So when you get other skins with the same shade you can use the same applier.)

And the sexy lingerie, by Carrie’s and is called Kacie BRT Pink. Now as you can see this exquisite corset and stockings are a bright hot pink color. Normally I’m more of a pastel pink kinda girl. But when I put this on I was shocked at how well I liked it. This lingerie set has everything under the sun, except the kitchen sink. lol There is system layers, Omega HUD, Slink Physique, hands and feet HUDS, and the Lola Tango Appliers as well. What you don’t see me wearing that is included in the box is a pink chest bow and the babydoll lace… those I didn’t care for but that doesn’t mean you won’t. (Oh, also cause it is a group gift and Carrie’s is branching out into men’s boxers/pants there is a male set of boxers in the same shade in the folder.)

So while my day comes to an end, I think I am going to lounge here on my couch and enjoy the quiet tranquility of my fire place. I hope you folks find some great little everyday treasures like I did. I can’t wait to go looking in the other stores for more.

Nice to Meet Me! Hunt

So there is this adorable little mini hunt going on From Aug. 2nd – Aug. 16th. There are around 17 stores participating and the prices are just 1L.

While Fi was distracted earlier with setting up her new “Garage Deals” I creeped into her closet and got early access to her hunt item. And OMG! It’s perfect for my lazy Sunday relaxing and spending time in a different one of my hobby rooms.

Good Morning SLers, I hope everyone can wake up to this view. I decided to wear the outfit I stole from Fi’s closet and start my day on the Yoga mat. Stretching out the muscles and getting my mind cleared for a day in the art room.

This extremely comfy two piece comes in two colors, Terra (wearing) and Earth. Both are available in the hunt gift. It’s a complete mesh outfit that comes in the traditional 5 mesh sizes. Now I am not going to tell you where Fi hid the gift… But… I don’t know why she thought that DEMO box was gonna hide it on the right side of her closet. (lol I always find the hidden presents!)

As I head inside my Art studio, let me just give you a little info. I had been looking for a really honest set up that was not pieced together and loaded down with prims. I found on MP (marketplace) the most amazing set up that had animations included in it. Even that yoga mat outside was in it.

Sitting at the table, I can sketch out my painting before breaking into the paints. This set is the Toronto Arts&Crafts from ~Bazar~ with poses in the chair and the easel. There are props and texture changes, too. I really enjoyed playing with this set and the prim count for everything was below 25. That includes the bookshelf, clay vases, the mannequin on the table, the easel, canvases on the floor, the table, chair, and that yoga mat out back on the deck.

Time for Paints!! I must be the messiest painter out there cause I always wind up wearing just as much paint as the canvas has. LOL

The paint Splatter is from Ama. and I picked it up on MP. It has alllll the appliers too. Don’t miss out on snagging it for your next art project.

Least it didn’t get on my clothes. And if you recognize this adorable dockside house, its from Trompe Loeil. Was out at one of the Collabor88 events.

Once I was done with my painting I took a break on the front dock of the house. The fresh ocean air was relaxing. I was able to create just adorable pieces of art today. And didn’t have any stress to fill my mind.
