My little Holiday

After decorating for the upcoming holidays at the family land in SL, I decided I was going to make me my own little corner to celebrate. But I didn’t want to go all out like I did for the family. This was just for me and Santa.

Next to Fall Winter is my fav time of season. And I think it’s cause it gives me a reason to be snuggley and curl up with family and friends enjoying a warm fire and not dying of heat exhaustion. (I live in Florida. No snow, pouts!)

After doing up the big tree over in the family house I decided to go green and take a page from LEP. They made these nifty sock cozy’s for your potted trees. So since I had a few trees of the season I put them in the socks that I was missing partners too. Think Santa will still give me gifts for trying to be a greener person and upcycling?

I stacked a few of my gifts around this giant stocking tip jar I got from Tipsters. I wonder if he’ll get the idea I want cash? lol

The cute picture I found over in Chiana’s place. She also had these Winter Warmers in a gacha. Looks like Chiana may have had trouble with the knitting. Cause these stockings  look a little off.. *whispers* but I think they are bigger than the normal stockings, so I put them out over the fireplace hoping for more trinkets. *giggles*

By the way that fireplace was a cute find over in the Sickly {SWEET} store. Even with out the decor it will be great for the winter months ahead.

The chaise I picked up from An Lema was perfect. There was no “assembly required”. Perfect to curl up with your partner or by yourself. The flannel fabrics are so soft against your skin.

These busy socks don’t match my sweater cause they are from two different stores. But Sweet Tea Couture put out these Hip to be Square socks that were so soft I had to snag them. They come into 2 sizes knee length and thigh high with the cute heart garters to help hold them up.

The sweater though I found while walking around Mutiny in Heaven. Never fails if it has snowflakes or penguins on it I have to buy it. And cause I am a kid at heart I got such a kick out of the socks jewelry over at Redrose. Reminds me of those charm necklaces we use to get in the quarter machines.

The Warm Socks Hunt 2 and Gacha

I’ve been showing you my decorating for the upcoming holidays. And this post is no different. I was able to snag a bunch of adorable finds from the Warm Socks 2 Hunt.

Had to decorate out side between the snow falls. Jag at Magnum Opus made this adorable Mudroom shelf. I placed it on my back porch, cause I don’t have an entryway for it to go in. lol

And do you see my new Santa Stop sign? It has my kids and niece giggling anxiously for Turkmas to get here. They are counting down the days! (I think the count is at just around 30 days.)

This adorable sock monkey, it followed me home from Shabby Tabby. I was hunting down the adorable illuminated sock candle holders Rosemary put out. I have the perfect place for those inside. I just haven’t got to that room yet so they are still boxed. (Look for a photo later in another post.)

 

I loved playing in my new sweater dress from Mishmash Fusion. Myst did an awesome job with all these Dresses, I happened to luck out and get the Rare Grey Chevron from her gacha. (I think she rigged the machine cause of all the cookies I feed her. *giggles* Love you Myst!) It’s mesh with all the standard sizes and the medium fits great on my Slink Physique.

Now you can’t just go play in the snow in a dress with out stockings. You see these cute playful black stockings with the rain clouds? These are an applier set provided by Karma over at Trashed. She has classic socks for non mesh avis and appliers for TMP, Slink, and Omega.

The siblings keep laughing at me cause I keep washing these and finding new outfits to wear them with. They are fun and playful, and gawd knows I never grew up!

To round out this outfit I snagged the hair from A&A Designs. This is Doreen.. version.. 8 I think.. dang I forgot to ask for the color shade from the hair stylist, Alice. Someone remind me to call and double check, please. (Pretty sure its version 8. *shakes my head for forgetting*)

I love tanning salons, and 7 Deadly s{K}ins gives me gorgeous shades to choose from this is Walnut. Britt comes in a few colors and she is available at the Suicide Dollz location this month. Don’t miss out on grabbing her.

I’m sure you shoe fanatics saw the cute snow boots I had sitting in the 1st photo… well these are what they looked like before the snow melted away lol.  Lunabel my luv, don’t think I forgot you. These super warm toasty boots come to you from Vertigo. They are the EPIC from her gacha machine. I loved stomping around in the snow with these fur trimmed boots. (Did anyone else here the song playing in your head?)

~*~ HSe: A Winter Night in the Forgotten Forest ~*~

I told you about my SL family celebrating Turkmas. So I decided to clean out the house and start the decorating early. A mix of Winter Solstice decor through out the house with Thanksgiving taking over the dining and kitchen areas. Since my new kitchen isn’t fully installed yet, I am going to make a run to the local bakery and see what delicious treats they have.

I got this beautiful corset style dress from Roped Passions, it’s an exclusive outfit at the event “A Winter Night in the Forgotten Forest.” The Kelekona Dress is mesh and comes in the standard sizes. The detail of this dress with it’s dragon emblem on the skirt is accompanied with a light weight wrap to keep you protected from the cold. I paired it up with the jewelry supplied by Glint, this is the Elixir of Oracle. Let me remove my wrap so you can see it better.

The necklace is a long delicate chain holding the elixir bottle. (The earrings are the same size bottle.) This adorable set comes in 6 Elixirs all located in a gacha machine, and there is an Exclusive War of Roses Black set not in the gacha. These won’t be around much longer the event ends on the 14th so don’t wait!

Like the new hair color? Thanks to Magika’s new color selections, I was able to change up my hair for something a bit darker. Her new color line HUD 04, is only available on a few hair styles so stop by the main store and take a look.

Okay got my sugary sweets now to head back to the house and decorate.

Does this wreath look straight? Ignore the mess. If I don’t spread everything out I won’t know what I have and what I need.

I had to change on the way home it started sleeting which left me freezing. If you don’t know what sleeting is.. think snow and rain at the same time. It’s a nasty mess.

But this gorgeous dress is super warm and cozy, it will warm me right up. I got this from the Beyond Persuasion designs booth. This gorgeous dress is called Dark Magic in her eyes: Desire unquenched. This gown comes in 6 different shades so make sure you check them all out. I grabbed this holiday red shade, but she also has several other holiday shades out. It’s a mesh gown provided in all the standard mesh sizes, the intricate silver stitching done across the front must of taken her hours.

Ohh.. and you have to see the adorable snow globe I was able to get from Beyond Majestic. I collect snow globes so when I saw this one, there was no way I was passing it up. It plays SWAN LAKE!!!

It’s called “A Touch of Magic: Midnight visit” and I absolutely love it. I keep winding it back up every time I enter the room.

Okay time for one of those cupcakes I snagged at the bakery, with a hot cup of coffee. Care to join me?

Simply designs had so many wonderful cakes and cupcakes out it took me for ever to decide. But these just looked to good to not grab as a treat. These are the Winter Dreams Half Dozen. Came with the cute decor plate too. Make sure you swing by the bakery over there at the event and grab you some goodies. I also saw the cute snow globe they were selling so you know I had to have it. lol

Time to start planning

Over the past few years, my SL family has grown from just three of us to nearly 25 members. I took a look at my little cozy kitchen and decided it was time to remodel. BEFORE the holidays. I stopped by 1 Prim Possible and checked out their kitchens.

With RL always interfering with our SL lives, we came up with the holiday… Turkmas! It’s held between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Occasionally, we change the day so we can accommodate all the family members.

Don’t I look like “Suzy Homemaker” in my cute new dress from Fi’s Creations! This is the Milano dress with matching shoes. It comes in 3 color combos that are HUD driven with 8 different patterns to play with. The top, belt and skirt are all different so you can mix n match too. She dances….

Taking her place in the dance pit, she listens for the music to cue. Then without warning her body is pulled into motion by the rhythm of the music. The soft red silks glide upon her chestnut skin dancing around her feet and intertwining around her legs. Letting the sexual frustration in her body fuel the passion of her dance. She moves around the pit like a feline with quick fluid motions.

The sway of her hips pop to the beat of the drums, while her polished nails travel along her body framing her curves. Her ocean blue eyes sparkle with flickers of purple as her inner excitement grows. She gazes out into the crowd watching her, looking for the one who will take her home. The hoots n hollers from the crowd being drown out by the music filling the air and the chime of her belled anklets.

Even as she rolls her body to the ground, the soft glow of sweat dampens her skin and the sand begins to stick to her. The fires lighting the room glow upon her skin and make the gold chain about her neck glitter. Stretching her body into her ending pose she looks out at the crowd, one last time. To see he has made his way to the edge of the pit waiting for her.
